Week 5A: Comparing Demographics
Teri's Cafe is a local business that takes an artful approach to their site. By design, the website seems to be targeting a younger demographic. Upon closer look, the website seems to display a takeout environment. This is the first thing consumers see when opening the web page. This website seems to target working professionals 25-40 in the North County area.
Chili's website has a similar theme in that it is geared towards take out. However, with a cleaner design and larger typography Chili's audience might include an older demographic. The design seems to say "everyone is welcome." Special pricing is also included in the home page call to action. Chili's seems to be targeting the middle class aged 35-70.

I think Chili's call to action involving special prices is a genius marketing strategy! I also feel like their target market is ideal, because most millennial are more focused on paying the bills, where as older individuals seem to have more wiggle room to go out and eat dinner at a sit down restaurant.
