10B: Human Interest In Blogging

Human Interest in Writing

While I think connecting on a personal level can be essential with businesses, given the nature of what I am trying to sell I have to be wary of how personal my posts can be.  Since I am trying to market myself for consulting as an expert in my field, I also have to prove my objectivity.  While human interest stories can be an excellent tool for promoting certain policy, I have to be careful to not get lost in the weeds.  If I chose to have a blog to promote my expertise I will have to find the perfect balance of reliability through personal stories and objectivity.

After reviewing the lecture and I believe HARO will be an additionally great tool to promote my blog and establish my credibility.
